The Supreme Court conditionally granted mandamus relief and ordered the trial court to vacate its order denying ExxonMobil’s discovery requests, holding that the trial court abused its discretion in that ExxonMobil lacked an adequate remedy on appeal.
Nearly sixty plaintiffs sued ExxonMobil seeking millions of dollars in reimbursement for past medical expenses arising from a fire and explosion at ExxonMobil’s Baytown Olefins Plant.
